DAY 1: WELCOME TO PERU – LIMA.
Pick up from airport – Hotel, overnight in Lima.
DAY 2: Excursion LIMA CITY TOUR.
After breakfast 9am. We will enjoy a tour visiting Lima in its three stages: Ancestral, Colonial and Modern Lima. We will start the tour with a panoramic view of the “Pucllana Pyramid”, ancient ceremonial and archaeological center built in the 4th century A.D. and considered Sacred Town of the Incas. Then we will go to the Historic Center of Lima. Where we will appreciate what was the old square Lima and appreciate more than fifty monuments and colonial buildings among which are the Paseo de la Republica, the Plaza San Martin, the Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the Municipal Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral Basilica, among others. Continuing the tour we will visit the Museum of the Central Reserve Bank where we will appreciate the Collection of Treasures of Peru in which we will find ceramic objects, gold and textiles of various pre-Columbian cultures. We will also find the Monumental Complex of San Francisco which is the largest sample of colonial religious art in America. Its main attraction is the visit to its subway crypts known as the Catacombs. Finally we will go to the Contemporary Zone of Lima where we will appreciate the main buildings and residential areas of Lima, El Olivar de San Isidro, Miraflores, Larcomar and Parque del Amor. DAY 3: PARACAS – BALLESTAS ISLANDS – HUACACHINA – 5am.
Departure to the Paracas Beach (04 hours approximately) in tourist mobility from the chosen place of concentration. 9:30 A.M. Arrival in Paracas to go to the maritime pier, from this place we will depart to the islands in modern boats where you can enjoy a wonderful excursion to the Ballestas Islands. We will enjoy this marvel of nature and marine wildlife such as: Sea Lions, Humboldt Penguins, Flamingos, Parihuanas and diverse marine birds. We will also observe the Candelabra where the guide will tell us the different hypotheses about its formation. Those who choose to stay can enjoy the sun and the sea breeze in this beautiful resort where you will find good restaurants with delicious dishes. P.M. Lunch Departure to the city of Ica City tour in Ica, we will visit the Campiñas Artesanal Nietto. Here we will be able to learn the whole process of how Pisco is made, guided by an experienced worker of the winery. After visiting the winery facilities, visitors will be invited to taste the different types of wines. We will visit the Huacachina oasis, which is located only 5 Km. from the center of the city of Ica. In this beautiful lagoon visitors can enjoy the tranquility of the place and walk around in search of good pictures. The huge dunes surrounding the lagoon allow visitors to practice one of the most fascinating sports in the area such as tubing and sand boarding, popularly called Sandboarding. P.M. DAY 4: WELCOME TO THE CITY OF CUSCO:
After breakfast Transfer to the airport hotel and travel to Cusco city. Welcome, transfer airport – hotel and coca tea to counteract the altitude sickness and in the afternoon have: CITY TOUR 1pm. -6:00pm: CITY TOUR EXCURSION: which includes a visit to the Plaza de Armas, the Temple of the Sun or Koricancha, also visit the 04 ruins surrounding the city: The Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Qenko, Puca Pucara, finally “The Baths of the Inca” Tambomachay.
DAY 5: ATV’S, MORAY & SALT PANS
7AM. Departure from the city of Cusco to kilometer 39 of the road (Cusco – Urubamba) in private transport will take about 45 minutes to reach the base of CUATRIMOTOS.
Then you will have a training of about (10 -15) minutes to become familiar with the ATVs, purchase of things necessary for the route such as water, energy bars, snacks, cookies, rehydrating, etc.. Then we will start to drive the ATVs, after about 10 minutes we will have our first stop to have a majestic view of the Huaypo lagoon, have photos and guided, continuing our journey through the Andes Mountains, the route consists of ups and downs incredible landscapes and lots of fun, an hour of travel and all with direction to the archaeological center Moray which is very impressive.
In which we will stop and you can make the guided tour that will be in charge of one of our professional guides (Bilingual) who have a lot of experience for everyone to have a unique and pleasant experience.
Continuing our tour we will pass through the typical village of Maras which is characterized by its colonial era covers and as a final point of visit we will have the salt mines of Maras known as salt mines and return to the base of ATV and have transportation back to Cusco. 2pm.
DAY 6.- SACRED VALLEY OF THE INKAS.
we start at 8:00 AM, we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco 10 to 15 minutes before the beginning of the excursion, we will start visiting the Archaeological Center of Pisac located 45 minutes from Cusco by private transportation. Pisac will give you an idea of the advanced knowledge that the Incas achieved in architecture. As in other Inca constructions, some studies reveal that it was not a fortress, but a kind of “royal hacienda”, property of the Inca Pachacutec, composed of terraces, domestic and ceremonial structures and aqueducts that provided water for agricultural exploitation. Another good reason to visit Pisac is its silver craft workshops, where you can find some unique and authentic souvenirs. At noon we will head to the town of Urubamba where we will enjoy a buffet lunch that will allow you to enjoy the delicious Peruvian gastronomy. Urubamba was one of the main agricultural centers of the Inca Empire. Nowadays, the best corn in the world is harvested here and during the rainy season, the valley’s own fruits abound, such as peaches, capulí, quince, first quality strawberries, among others. In the afternoon we will visit the Ollantaytambo Fortress which was a strategic military, agricultural and religious center to administer and control the Sacred Valley of the Incas, finishing the visit we will go to the station to board our train at 4:30 pm that will take us to the town of Aguas Calientes.
DAY 7.- FULL DAY MACHUPICCHU. –
After breakfast pick up from the hotel our guide will be waiting for us with a sign and their names, with which will go to the bus station, to ascend to 400 m high, a zigzagging path for 30 minutes to reach “Machupicchu”, known as “The lost city of the Incas”. Once you arrive at the citadel of Machu Picchu, we will pass the check point, from this place will begin the guided tour, we will visit the main places of the city, such as The Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and the cemeteries, the tour will last more than two hours. At the end, you will be given free time to walk around the citadel and visit Machu Picchu on your own, then we will return to “Aguas Calientes” and take our meals in one of the many restaurants. In the afternoon, 3:00pm we will take the train back to Cusco (you must be at the station 30 minutes before the departure time of your train), the return will follow the same route as the outbound journey, arrival at the train station in Ollantaytambo, we will be waiting for you to take you to Cusco (1 hour drive and 30 minutes).
DAY 8: HUMANTAY LAGOON.
Our staff will come to pick you up at your hotel at 5:00 am, we will board our vehicle to travel northwest of the city of Cusco, to the town of Mollepata this trip shows the lush valley of the Apurimac River. In this small and picturesque town we will have a well-deserved breakfast to fill us with energy, then we will continue our journey to the starting point of the hike to the town of Soraypampa which is at an altitude of 3,900 m.a.s.l. after a short rest, we will begin our journey towards the Humantay Lagoon located at an altitude of 4,180 m.a.s.l., after the ascent of 1,500 m.a.s.l. we will continue our journey to the town of Soraypampa. m, after the ascent of 1 hour 30 min approximately we will be able to appreciate the wonderful lagoon of Humantay and on the other side the Imposing Snowy of Salkantay, after the explanation of our guide and to take the photos of memory we will have a time to enjoy the place and to return to our camp of Soraypampa to have our lunch with beautiful panoramic views of the snowy ones and later we will be transferred to the city of Cusco, arriving at 5:00 pm approx.
DAY 9: TRANSFER HOTEL – AIRPORT .-
