Cusco Magico 3 days 2 nights – Cusco, Cuzco or Qosqo “navel” in Quechua was founded by the Incas, who instituted it as the capital and the geographical, political, strategic and military center of their territory. Cusco has impressive landscapes characterized by blue skies and white clouds accompanied by imposing mountains. In addition, its Inca and colonial architectural heritage make this place unique in the world.
On the first day of this tour, we will be able to see Inca constructions such as the Qorikancha and the Inca Roca Palace on the cobblestone streets of Cusco, along with colonial constructions of Andean baroque style such as the cathedral and the church of La Compañia.
Ten minutes from the city stand the gigantic walls of the fortress of Saqsayhuaman, and a few kilometers farther are the archaeological sites of Qenqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay, built entirely of stone.
The second day we will have the opportunity to visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas, which is crossed by numerous rivers that descend through ravines and small valleys. This place has many archaeological monuments and indigenous villages such as Pisac with its typical market, Ollantaytambo and the town of Chinchero. This valley was highly appreciated by the Incas due to its special geographic, climatic and energetic qualities. It was one of the main production points due to the richness of its lands and it is the place where the best corn grain in Peru is produced.
